Meet the Team

Dr. Holly Guenther, OTD, OTR/L has experience in a variety of settings across the lifespan, but has specialized in pediatrics her entire career. Holly received her doctorate in occupational therapy from Huntington University in 2017 and has pursued professional education in various areas of pediatrics since. While searching for ways to help her patients who often struggled with bowel and bladder difficulties, Holly fell in love with pediatric pelvic health and started Pelviworks Pediatrics in 2024. She has served as an adjunct professor, has mentored dozens of OT students, and has been selected to serve Trine University’s School of Health Sciences Advisory Board. With over 8 years of extensive experience in treating children 0-18 with physical, neurological, developmental, and psychosocial differences; Holly has dedicated her career to supporting children with a wide variety of diagnoses and goals. Holly values creating a safe space that is welcoming and warm for all children and their caregivers, while hoping to boost every patient’s day with a smile or laugh.

Personally, Dr. Holly Guenther is a wife and mother to three: a husband who serves the community as an elementary assistant principal, a spunky daughter, and wiley twin boys. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, home DIY, and rabbit holes of quirky topics. She is always ready with a dad joke or out-of-tune song. She loves knowledge in all forms and about all things; especially the topics of child development, pathophysiology, and innovative and holistic care to name a few.

“Pediatric pelvic health is so under-recognized and even more underserved. I want children and their families to know they aren’t alone in their bowel and bladder struggles, and to have a place they are comfortable addressing sensitive topics as a team — hopefully with a smile on their face.”
